The Company

Grand Prix Racewear Ltd (GPR) has been established for over 21 years and is a well respected Motorsport Equipment supplier based at Silverstone Circuit which is in the heart of the UK Motorsport scene.

We have one retail store at Silverstone Circuit, the home of British Motorsport. Our mail order, website fulfillment and trade distribution is operated from our 10,000 sq ft warehouse facility at Silverstone Circuit.

We carry of 15,000 product lines and over £1m in stock value at any one time, so we can satisfy the needs of all Motorsport competitors, personnel, teams, officials and preparation companies across all Motorsport disciplines.

The History

GPR was originally opened in 1987 and based in a small 500 sq ft shop in Acton, West London. GPR quickly established itself as a serious player in the world of motorsport protective clothing and driver accessories and built a solid reputation for being “the Racewear” specialists in the UK market.

After many years of being a London based business, the mail order, trade sales operations and warehouse were moved to much larger premises in Milton Keynes in 2000 and retail store at Silverstone Circuit the home of British motorsport .

GPR will continue to provide customers with expert advice, value for money and the best products the motorsport market has to offer. It will also continue to specialise in safety equipment and stock all the top brands including Alpinestars, Sparco, Puma, Sabelt, OMP, Arai, Bell, Simpson and Stilo, to name but a few. We’ll supply everyone from beginners to Formula 1 drivers and everyone from six to ninety-six years old can visit our emporium and find the very best equipment on the market.

In February 2009 the long-term future of one of the iconic names in British motorsport, Grand Prix Racewear (GPR), has been secured, following the aquisition of the company’s assets by Martin Hines.
