The new WRC electronics are the same as the older DSE model, but the comm port plug has been changed so that it can fit inside the helmet port itself. This makes the electronics more stable and protects the intercom cable. The new DG Wireless intercom helmet key (sold separately) has been modified so that the body of the key is moved further forward to clear the HANS posts and the tether of your FHR device when used in competition.
FIA and Snell both have standards for helmets. One is called FIA 8859-2015 and the other is called Snell SA2020. You have to meet these standards to use a helmet.
