    Description

    Aim Infrared Tyre Temperature Sensor

    The Aim Infrared (IR) tyre temperature sensors feature a 4-pin black 719 binder plug, making them compatible with all Aim loggers and dash display/loggers.

    These compact IR sensors allow for contact-free tyre temperature measurements from a distance of 30 to 150mm. For optimal performance, it is recommended to use three sensors per tyre (positioned on the inside, center, and outside). However, if budget or channel input limitations exist, using just one sensor per tyre can still provide valuable data.

    The temperature measurement range of these sensors is from 0 to 150ºC, and they come with a cable length of 25cm.

    When installing the sensors, ensure they are placed away from strong heat sources, such as the exhaust pipe, and minimise exposure to electromagnetic interference.

    Connections:

    The MXS, MXP, MXG, MXL (Strada and Pista), MXL2, EVO5, and MXm harnesses are equipped with 719 connections. To extend the distance between your dash display/logger and the analog sensor, please use a 719-719 patch lead, which is available in various lengths from 0.5 to 3 meters. For most installations, one of these leads will be necessary.

    The EVO4 and EVO4S loggers, as well as the Channel Expansion unit, are equipped with 712 connections and require a 712-719 patch lead to connect to these sensors.
