The AiM PDM32 With 6″ Road Icons Display GPS Data Logging Kit is a 32 channel advanced power distribution module designed to power a multitude of vehicle circuits, removing the need for traditional fuse boxes and relays. The 6″ TFT display with road icons features a fully configurable display with a range of layouts to choose from and a GPS Module providing easy lap timing and lap position for track mapping.

Power Distribution Module 

The AiM PDM32 is a 32 channel advanced power distribution module designed to power a multitude of vehicle circuits, removing the need for traditional fuse boxes and relays. It allows for a simplified wiring harness with increased reliability and control functions.

The PDM32 can receive data from the vehicle ECU and even includes a data logger and GPS Module for lap timing and track mapping. The GPS Module is available with cables from 50cm up to 4m. There is also a GPS roof version available in 2m or 4m.

PDM32 Power Outputs

The PDM32 is equipped with 28 high-sided outputs and four half-bridge outputs. The outputs are categorised as follows: 4 high-power outputs rated up to 20A, 12 mid-power outputs rated up to 15A, and 12 low-power outputs rated up to 10A. The half-bridge outputs can handle up to 35A each, resulting in a total continuous maximum current of 120A.

Each output provides feedback to the data logger, delivering essential information such as open circuits, short circuits, high/low voltage, the number of fault retries, and the user-defined time between retries.

Additionally, all outputs can be configured for Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) to facilitate soft start and stop operations. The entire setup and monitoring of the PDM circuits can be managed through the Race Studio 3 software.

PDM32 Inputs

The PDM32 is equipped with a versatile array of inputs, featuring 8 inputs that can handle both analogue and digital signals. In addition to these, it includes 4 dedicated digital-only inputs, allowing for precise data acquisition from digital sources. Furthermore, the device offers 2 specialised speed inputs, designed to capture and process speed-related information effectively. This combination of inputs makes the PDM32 a powerful tool for a variety of applications.
