The sensor operates within a pressure range of 0 to 5 bar (0 to 72 PSI), making it an ideal choice for a wide array of engine configurations and racing applications where precision is crucial.

It is important to note that the VDO Pressure Sensor is not suitable for measuring brake pressure. Please ensure it is used only for its intended purpose to maintain optimal performance and safety.

How the VDO Pressure Sensor 0-5 Bar Works

The 0-5 Bar VDO Pressure Sensor features a cylindrical design with an M5 thread, allowing it to be securely mounted directly onto the engine block. It includes two connectors for the ground (GND) and pressure signals. If the thread on the engine is larger than the sensor’s cylinder thread, we recommend using adapters.

To install the Aim VDO Pressure Sensor, tightly screw it into the designated pressure port on your engine or fluid system. Ensuring a secure connection is crucial to prevent loosening due to vibrations. Once the sensor is connected to your Aim logger or dashboard, it will continuously monitor pressure and transmit real-time data to your display. This allows you to monitor pressure levels, set warning thresholds, and review logged data after each session. Early detection of issues such as oil starvation, fuel delivery problems, or coolant leaks can help protect your engine and give you the confidence to push harder on the track.
