The new Radar V2 Shoes have been specifically designed and developed in collaboration with leading professional pit crews in Formula 1, NASCAR, and IndyCar. These shoes are crafted to be the ideal footwear for all pit environments. They feature a reinforced heel and toe box, a fireproof aramidic lining, and perforation zones for breathability. Additionally, the shoes are equipped with Alpinestars’ exclusive rubber compound sole, which provides excellent grip and support—making them perfect for fast pit stops and long days in the garage.

The main upper is constructed from leather and features protective prints on the heel, ankle, and toe areas for added durability and protection. A fireproof fabric ensures comfort, safety, and complete foot protection.

The dual closure system includes an adjustable hook and loop strap combined with a mix of hidden loops and traditional eyelet lacing, allowing for a personalized fit and secure closure.

Strategically placed perforated zones enhance cooling performance and maximize airflow. The collar padding is made from Nitrile rubber, providing comfort while keeping the weight low. The tongue is designed with perforated soft padding for both comfort and an improved fit.

The collar is cut lower at the rear to allow greater comfort for the Achilles tendon and to improve range of movement. A TPR strap and ankle support enhance comfort and stability when kneeling or moving quickly during pit stops.

The ergonomic heel counter features a composite construction that provides additional support and stability. Alpinestars’ exclusive rubber compound sole wraps around the toe for maximum durability, facilitating a seamless transition to the asphalt during all phases of a pit stop. Additionally, the midsole cushioning ensures comfort, support, and stability.
