Arai Hans Clips
The Arai HANS post anchor clips are precision-engineered components specifically created to enhance the safety and performance of drivers by ensuring a secure attachment to compatible helmets. These clips are designed to work seamlessly with helmets that have obtained specific safety homologations, which attest to their rigorous testing and adherence to high safety standards. The compatible homologations include:
FIA 8858-2010: This standard indicates that the helmet has undergone comprehensive testing for its performance in high-impact scenarios, ensuring it provides optimal protection during motorsport activities.
FIA 8860-2010: Helmets certified under this standard feature advanced safety technologies designed for elite-level racing, providing superior protection and energy absorption in the event of a collision.
SNELL SA2010: This certification signifies that the helmet has met the stringent testing criteria established by the Snell Memorial Foundation, ensuring reliability and safety in competitive environments.
It is important to emphasize that these HANS clips are not compatible with earlier models of helmets that have been approved by FIA or SNELL. Using the correct clips with the appropriate helmets is crucial for achieving the highest level of safety and ensuring effective integration with HANS devices. Proper compatibility guarantees a secure fit, which can make a significant difference in driver safety during high-speed motorsport events.
