The Pit 470 can be used to add extra pit radios to your Race 470 System or function as a stand-alone communication system in high-noise environments. It employs PTT (Push-To-Talk) over Cellular technology to provide license-free radio communications for both short and long ranges in the UK, Europe, and worldwide*. This system is ideal for circuit use, rallying, and long-range road applications. The technology utilises the data capabilities of 3G and 4G mobile networks to transmit voice communications.

PTT over Cellular sends each individual call as a small data package, meaning that only data is consumed when you are speaking. This eliminates the need for a constant phone connection, which is often required by other mobile phone-based systems.

The system relies solely on data and can use our Multi-network SIMs. The range is only limited by the availability of a suitable mobile network, allowing units to be hundreds or even thousands of kilometers apart.

No radio license is needed, making this system ideal for use abroad in Europe or worldwide*, provided the SIM is suitable. It can also be used in locations where radio use is restricted.
