OMP Nomex Socks
Fire-retardant socks are a critical piece of equipment for anyone involved in motorsports, as they provide essential protection against severe foot burns caused by fire exposure. This is why many racing organisations mandate the use of flame-resistant socks to ensure the safety of their drivers.
The OMP socks are thoughtfully designed with a mid-calf length, offering enhanced coverage and protection extending up the leg, which is essential during races where every layer of safety counts. They are expertly crafted from a sophisticated blend of aramid fibers, known for their remarkable heat resistance and durability. This unique material not only shields the feet from flames but also retains its structural integrity, providing long-lasting performance in high-pressure racing situations.
In addition to their protective qualities, these socks are tailored for comfort and fit. The mid-length design ensures that they stay securely in place, reducing the likelihood of slipping during movement. The fabric is breathable, helping to regulate temperature and wick away moisture, which is particularly beneficial during long hours on the track or in the paddock.
Specifications:
Colour: An elegant cream tone, making them aesthetically pleasing and compatible with a variety of racing suits and team colors.
Sizes Available: A wide range, including XS, S, M, L, and XL, ensuring a proper fit for various foot sizes and shapes.
Certification: These socks meet the stringent FIA 8856-2018 safety standards, assuring that they provide the highest level of protection required for competitive motorsport events.
Choosing OMP fire-retardant socks means investing in reliable performance and safety, allowing drivers to focus on their race with the confidence that they are well-protected.
