Sparco Master Advanced Fibreglass Seat

Sparco Master Advanced Fibreglass Seat

The Sparco Master Advanced Fibreglass Seat is engineered to enhance safety and support within the cockpit, especially in competition vehicles with limited interior space. Compliant with FIA 8855-2021 standards, it features a robust fibreglass shell combined with an outer layer of carbon fibre, which improves impact resistance while significantly reducing overall weight.

Features and Benefits:

FIA 8855-2021 Approved Construction: This seat is built to meet the latest FIA 8855-2021 specifications for fiberglass seats. This design enhances structural performance and provides improved side-impact protection, complying with updated motorsport safety requirements.

Carbon Fiber Outer Layer: A bonded carbon fiber shell surrounds the fiberglass core, reinforcing the structure. This enhancement allows for greater energy dissipation during impacts and reduces the seat’s weight by 3 kg (with a total weight of 11 kg), contributing to improved chassis balance and a lower overall vehicle mass.

Integral Head Restraint System: A fixed lateral head support is incorporated into the shell design to control side movement during an impact and reduce the risk of head and neck injuries, especially when used with a Frontal Head Restraint (FHR) device.

Shock-Absorbing Head Foam: Additional impact-absorbing foam around the headrest improves comfort and safety by softening contact points, providing an extra layer of passive protection during lateral load events.

Non-Slip Shoulder and Base Fabric: Textured high-grip material is used in key body contact areas to minimise movement under load. This feature helps maintain a consistent driving posture and reduces driver fatigue during long stages or sessions.

Memory Foam Padding: Cushions in the base and backrest are lined with memory foam, offering enhanced pressure distribution and comfort without compromising driver feedback or seat stiffness.

Low Profile Base Cushion: The slim base design positions the hips lower in the shell, improving leg support, enhancing lateral containment, and contributing to a more stable driving position during cornering.

Integrated Harness Slots and Safety Net Guides: Six harness slots accommodate multiple harness routing options, including both 4-point and 6-point systems. Additionally, side safety net guides ensure the secure and compliant fitting of extra safety equipment.
