Stilo ST5 R Carbon Rally Helmet ‘WL’

The Stilo ST5 R 8860 Carbon Rally WL helmet has a new shell design that is compatible with the Stilo ‘WL’ wireless communication system. This shell is made from 100% carbon fibre for added weight savings and meets the extremely rigorous FIA 8860-2018 safety standards.

The Stilo ST5 R 8860 Carbon Rally WL Helmet is designed specifically for use with the Stilo ‘WL’ wireless communication system. It is compatible with all hard wired Stilo DG and WRC series amplifiers and is lightweight and super strong. The adjustable microphone has a magnetic-dynamic noise-cancelling microphone which is supplied with spacers to move the microphone position closer to the driver’s mouth. The earmuffs offer excellent isolation from external noises and contain the intercom speakers. The pressure on the head from the earmuffs can be adjusted by changing the special foam rubber pads positioned between the earmuff and the helmet. The drinks system preparation allows the driver to easily stay hydrated during a competition and with quick release couplings also making it easy to enter and exit the car.

The ST5 R WL rally helmet has the same Stilo WRC intercom system as other rally helmets, but the comms port has been redesigned so that it works with the WL wireless key (sold separately). This key fits perfectly in the contours of the shell shape, so it doesn’t interfere with FHR posts or straps. The microphone is adjustable to make sure it’s spaced away from the mouth to reduce external noise. The ear muffs surround the speakers to reduce external noise and make the helmet more comfortable. The helmet’s intercom system is also compatible with traditional Stilo wired amplifiers, so you don’t have to change helmets for vehicles that don’t have a wireless amplifier.
