The Venti Trophy Offshore helmet is different from the Stilo Venti Trophy rally helmet in that it is painted orange and does not have FHR posts. It is fitted with a Stilo Trophy intercom headset, which is made from the same EPS cheek pad technology as the WRC helmet range. This helmet is safe to wear because it meets FIA 8859-2015 and Snell SA2020 safety standards.
The helmet has a microphone and comms system fixed to it. The system is designed to be stable and adjustable, so the driver can see clearly even in bright sunlight. It also includes noise-reducing earmuffs, and soft and comfortable cheek pads. The system is fitted with Stilo’s Trophy intercom, which includes noise-attenuating earmuffs and integrated speakers. The helmet is not recommended for use in noisy vehicles, but it does have receptacles to allow retrofitting of FHR posts.
The FIA 8859-2015 and Snell SA2020 standards have been approved, which means they are good ways to measure how safe a car is.
