The Alpinestars Youth Bionic Rib Protector is a lightweight, ergonomically designed rib guard engineered to deliver superior support and comfort for young karting drivers.
Featuring a performance-driven structure

- A flexible back panel to ensure a secure and personalized fit.
Its advanced multi-layered design maximizes both comfort and function. The interior is lined with soft poly-Lycra, making it suitable to wear over or under racewear. For superior impact absorption and vibration dampening, the core of the protector includes a 3mm high-density poly-foam layer combined with 3mm EVA padding.
The shoulder straps are made from breathable 3D mesh, enhancing ventilation, and include elasticated inserts for a contoured, snug fit. The outer shell is built from durable 600D textile, offering strong resistance to friction and wear.
Strategically placed dual-density rib panels feature an ergonomic shape and combine a fiberglass inner core with a robust PE outer shell for effective impact dispersion and shock resistance. Carefully selected lightweight materials contribute to optimal performance without adding unnecessary bulk.
A central adjustable back panel with Velcro closures provides a wide range of fit options, allowing the protector to be worn over or under a suit. The front D-ring chest strap includes an elasticated section to further enhance comfort and adjustability during movement.
