The Alpinestars Youth Neck Support is a specially engineered safety device tailored for younger riders and smaller-framed individuals. Its primary function is to reduce the risk of neck injuries during high-impact karting or motorsport activities by working in conjunction with the helmet to redirect energy away from the neck area.
In the event of a crash, if the helmet makes contact with the neck support, the device helps to distribute excessive impact forces across a broader area, thereby reducing the direct load on the cervical spine. This can significantly lower the risk of serious injuries, such as neck fractures or severe muscular strain caused by sudden or extreme head movement. While no safety device can eliminate all risks, the Alpinestars Youth Neck Support is proven to lessen the severity of impact and limit secondary damage by controlling how energy is transferred through the body.
Designed with comfort and fit in mind, it ensures young racers maintain full mobility while gaining an extra layer of protection essential for high-speed environments.
