Racelogic GPS Antenna for Video VBOX Lite
Replacement magnetic patch antenna for the Video VBOX Lite comes with a 3-meter cable and an MXC connector. This antenna requires a ground plane for optimal performance.
For the best GPS reception, ensure the antenna is mounted on top of the vehicle with a clear view of the sky, free from obstructions. The mounting surface should be metallic.
This external magnetic GPS antenna features a 3M-MCX connector and is compatible with Racelogic PerformanceBox, DriftBox, and VBOX Sport.
Some modern vehicles are equipped with special windscreens designed to reduce UV (ultraviolet) rays, which in turn helps minimize glare. These types of windscreens are known as athermic or UV-coated, and they can weaken GPS signals when transmitted through the glass.
If your vehicle has this type of windscreen, it is necessary to use this external GPS antenna, which magnetically attaches to the roof of your car.
