Racelogic VBOX Pit Lane Timer

The VBOX Pit Lane Timer eliminates the uncertainty during the crucial pit stop phase of an endurance race. It recognizes the preset entry point of the pit lane as the vehicle crosses it, displays the speed until the car comes to a complete stop, and then counts down to zero, indicating when it’s time to exit the pit.

Additionally, the high-brightness LEDs change color and intensity to alert the driver if they are exiting the pit lane too early, too late, or just at the right moment.

The VBOX Pit Lane Timer records all data to an SD card at a rate of 25 times per second.

Display Modes – VBOX Pit Lane Timer

The VBOX Pit Lane Timer features different display modes depending on your location on the track:

• Stint Time: While you are on the track, the Pit Lane Timer will display your time from pit stop to pit stop.
• Live Speed: Once you enter the pit lane, the Pit Lane Timer will show your live speed.
• Countdown Time: When you come to a stop in your pit box, the Pit Lane Timer will display a countdown to indicate when you should leave your pit box.

LED Modes: After the countdown reaches 0.00 and your vehicle exits the pit box, the LEDs will indicate the following:
– OFF: Maintain your speed (from +0.5s to +1.5s).
– GREEN: Speed up (above +1.5s).
– RED: Slow down (if you’re under 0.5 seconds). When the LEDs are red, the pit lane timer will emit a continuous beep.
