Stand 21 FHR Sliding Tethers
The Stand 21 FHR sliding tether system offers a seamless solution for enhancing safety in motorsport by being compatible with HANS devices that conform to either the FIA8858-2002 or FIA8858-2010 standards. This tether system has received homologation under the FIA8858-2010 standard, ensuring compliance with the latest safety regulations.
The installation process for the new clamps is designed for convenience and efficiency. Simply remove your existing tethers and securely attach the new clamps to the back of your HANS device. Notably, this sliding tether can be utilised with both FIA8858-2002 and FIA8858-2010 HANS posts, providing flexibility for users.
HANS devices themselves come in three distinct sizes to accommodate different driver needs: the 17-inch size is suitable for small frames, the 18-inch size caters to medium frames, and the 19-inch size is designed for larger builds. This range allows drivers to select the most appropriate fit for optimal safety and performance on the track.
