Alpinestars Premium Kart Protection Bundle – Junior
Alpinestars Youth Neck Support
Specially designed for youth or smaller framed rider the Youth Neck Support functions when the helmet and support frame provide an alternative load path for the excessive energy that compresses the neck. If the helmet is in contact with the neck support at the moment of impact the overall load passing through the neck can be reduced, which may prevent a fracture from occurring and reduce the chance of muscular injuries from extreme head movement. Although it is not possible to eliminate the risk of any form of injury, the support has been proven to help reduce the most serious damage and minimize the risk of collateral injury as the impact load is channeled away from the neck.
Alpinestars Youth Bionic Rib Protector
A high-performance, lightweight, ergonomically constructed supportive guard for the ribs, the Bionic Rib Support incorporates adjustable shoulder straps, a central chest belt and an adjustable back panel to offer kart drivers a supremely comfortable, customized and supporting fit.
- The technical, multi-layered main construction has been optimized for a performance fit and enhanced comfort.
- The advanced, soft poly-Lycra inner lining means the Bionic Rib Support can be worn under or over a garment.
- The main body incorporates a 3mm high density poly-foam layer laminated with 3mm absorption EVA for enhanced impact and anti-vibration performance.
- The adjustable shoulder straps are constructed from highly breathable 3D mesh for optimum airflow and feature an elasticated gusset for a snug performance fit.
- 600D textile outer for high resistance to friction and enhanced durability.
- Dual-density, strategically positioned, ergonomically shaped rib guards incorporate fiberglass core and robust PE hardshell outer for excellent shock dispersion and damping performance.
- The specially selected materials and components to offer crucial weight-saving performance.
- Central adjustable back panel with hook and loop attachments offers a complete range of fitment, allowing the guard to be worn under or over a garment.
- The fully adjustable front strap with D-ring closure features elasticated section for comfort.
